AAC is the champion alternative building product which outperforms any other product all over and is affordable on top of it too. AAC is a winner for you!
We want to announce our principles of best quality, best service at affordable price and if something does the job is good enough, it is never good enough for us and our clients.
So we have increased our wall thickness for external walls from 200 mm to 250 mm with a thermal performance of 2.8 R-Value which enables us to have a Bond beam on top of each load bearing wall with solid conventional concrete 150 x 250 mm plus each side thermal insulation with 50 mm AAC Thermal blocks to prevent condensation.
Because of forces of nature tending to increase in the future, we have also doubled the reinforcing in the bond beam from 2 HD 12 mm rods to 4 HD 12 mm rods with stirrups cage 100 x 200 mm. We also will double the strength of vertical reinforcing from HD 12 mm to HD 18 mm Reid Bars from now on.
We are glad to have given up on having AAC walls with plaster on both sides, which gives us a price advantage of $400.00 per 1 m², with LIME WASH instead — traditional European methods for thousands of years.
Our AAC Thermal Blocks with size of 250 x 250 x 600 mm are produced by German technology accuracy and absolutely straight and square. The installers work with laser guides and sand the walls when finished with a pole sander and router all sharp corners with a radius you decide.
Lime wash is absolutely environmentally friendly, non-toxic and anti-bacterial. Lime absorbs CO₂ from the atmosphere and turns back to its original condition of Lime Rock again. This surpasses all acrylic plasters and paints — not only in price but also without any toxic fumes.
A home constructed with AAC masonry system equals a Passive House performance without all sorts of electronic gadgets — through breathability and natural ventilation for a healthy living.
AAC provides your investment with longevity because of its mineral-only content and no decay, low maintenance, free of any condensation, fire and earthquake resistance, termite and vermin proof and protects you from all forces of nature. The technical details of our Thermal AAC Blocks and panels is 450 kg dry density per 1 cbm and 3.5 MPa compressive strength. You need only 6.5 AAC Thermo blocks for 1 m² with a weight of 150 kg per 1 m² compared to 13 concrete blocks per 1 m² or 60 bricks for 1 m² of brick veneer.
Here we want to make you aware of some problems you will face when you approach an Architect to design a solid masonry house for you, he will ask you: "Why do you not want to build a conventional timber house?” And the builder will say: "We are not geared up for this.”
This is only an excuse because they are not confident in what they do not know. Please do not give up — we will modify your plan to fit our product and provide our engineer for zero cost to you, and we will have installers for our product too. AAC solid masonry construction does not need cavities, flashing or timber wrapping and has fewer inspections during construction. Our installers will also drill holes in the walls for easy cabling.
We also want to announce that we have designed the world's first "Wild Fire Proof Home.” Instead of timber decoration you can have architect’s masonry features to make your home look good. How? We will have no combustible material on the external walls of a wildfire-proof house, no timber balconies, no timber eaves and no timber rafters.
The rafters will be of pre-stressed concrete covered with AAC fireproof panels. On top, you can have ceramic tiles or clip-on long iron roof.
We will have AAC fireproof sliding shutters that can roll over openings for windows, doors and garage doors. So we provide fire protection from top to bottom. You can also have a second floor and install a maintenance service deck cantilevered from the AAC mid-floor construction to serve the sliding shutters above.
The windows will have, from bond beams above lintels, an extended overlap to guide the shutters on top. They will run on rollers on a round steel track at the bottom — very easy to move — and can be secured by chain and padlock on each side of window or door.
The sliding shutters might also be good protection from criminal activity when you are not at home or when you want to shut them at night.
If you like, you could also have a recirculating water film over your roof and use the gutter for recirculation back to the swimming pool or water tank. In this case, you would need a fire-protected power source to provide electricity for your circulation pump when the grid fails.
